The LES Training Series is comprised of 3 main categories of energy efficiency, renewable energy, and climate change related training offerings from the LEWG and its member organizations as well as a number of other trusted sources.

September 10th - Energy Efficiency Potential in Our Public Buildings
This webinar coordinated with Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships (NEEP) will highlight the potential for energy efficiency savings in public buildings. NEEP’s High Performance Buildings Associate Brian Buckley will be highlighting strategies from NEEP’s recently released Operations and Maintenance Guide, as well as the potential benefit of building schools according to the recently updated Northeast Collaborative for High Performance Schools (NE-CHPS) criteria. Learning from applied examples within the presentation, participants will gain a greater understanding of energy efficiency’s potential, and what projects might make sense for their communities. Guest speaker, Ian Houseal, Assistant to the City Manager and Sustainability Coordinator with the City of Portland, Maine will share highlights from Portland's energy efficiency efforts.
