Linda Darveau holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health and a Masters Degree in Biostatistics from Boston University. She worked as an industrial hygienist for DuPont for before joining the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection to assist in implementing Massachusetts’ landmark Toxics Use Reduction Act legislation. Linda joined the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as a founding member of the New England Environmental Assistance Team, providing regulatory compliance and pollution prevention assistance to small businesses. Linda began incorporating Lean manufacturing into her work with small business and was tapped to facilitate Lean process improvement at EPA when it became an agency priority in 2013. Currently a member of the EPA’s Energy and Climate Team, Linda works on energy efficiency and renewable energy projects with municipalities, hospitals, houses of worship, and water and waste water treatment plants.
Linda has been a proud member of the Local Energy Solutions Working Group since 2008, and appreciates the Working Group’s efforts to encourage grassroots action to combat climate change and protect the beautiful New Hampshire environment. .
